Ambient Voice Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology pilot :

This practice is participating in a pilot to test the use of ambient voice artificial intelligence (AI) technology in consultations.

This technology listens to a consultation between a GP and a patient and generates a transcript which summarises the important information. This means that the GP can focus on listening to you throughout your consultation. The GP always checks the AI generated transcript afterwards to make sure that it is accurate.

The ambient scribe technology which this practice is piloting has passed rigorous safety checks, so you know that your information is safe.

You have a choice about whether the ambient scribe AI technology is used in your consultation, so please tell your GP if you would prefer that the technology isn’t used.
